Art &
Culture
For a very long time, it was never an issue: cultural instutions are predominantly white and elitist institutions.
Today, however, ‘inclusion’ is the buzz-word. Performing arts move to venues in the suburbs, the colonial past of many countries suddenly impacts the collections of museums. Cultural productions become co-productions of people of various ethnical backgrounds, various ages and various world views. Yet it remains troublesome to really include these groups of people, who are not part of the traditional ‘cultural in-crowd’. How and where do you reach them? Win their trust? These are basically communication challenges – challenges that Bourne loves to face and solve with you.
